Hidden Lake Lookout Hike July 2015
Hiked with Paul and Shannon. We started very early (left Woodinville around 5:20 am, started hiking around 8:10 am). The early start allowed us to avoid crowds on the summit (only two other hikers were there) and the heat while climbing up (the temperature reached 95 F later that day). It was very pleasant on the summit - light wind to cool us down, but not too cold.
This is easily among top three most visually beautiful hikes I did in the Cascades. Maybe even THE top one. The views from the trail and the summit are spectacular.
The hike took us 7 hours and 20 minutes, but that included about an hour on the summit and many stops for rest, pictures and eating blueberries. Guides list it as a 6-hour hike. Highly recommended!
