Bylo to juz tylko pare godzin jazdy od Seattle w czasie naszej kwietniowej wyprawy. Autostrada biegnie wzdluz rzeki, po czym mostem widocznym po lewej stronie przejezdza sie na drugi brzeg. Jesli sie nie myle, to co widac na zdjeciu to zalew powstaly po wybudowaniu zapory (lub zapor) w dole rzeki. WIdok robi wrazenie, wszystko jest wielkie (patrz figurki ludzi na dole troche na prawo od srodka zdjecia). Zdjecie obejmuje jakies 270 stopni.

View to the west from an I-90 lookout on the Columbia River close to the town of Vantage, WA (it's a couple dozen miles from Ellensburg, WA. This was only a few hours of driving from Seattle during our April 2004 trip. I-90 follows the river and then crosses it over the bridge visible in the left part of the picture. If I am not mistaken, the water visible in the picture is actually a reservoir created after a dam (or dams) were built downriver. The view is impressive, the scale of things is just huge (see the people in the lower center of the picture for reference). The picture covers about 270 degrees.
