On September 12-14, 2004 I attended the industrial manufacturing technology show (IMTS 2004) in Chicago. I used the opportunity to visit old places and to photograph some new attractions in the city.

McCormick center jest olbrzymie i pomimo, iz na wystawie byly tysiace ludzi, niektore korytarze swiecily pustkami. Ten korytarz kojarzy mi sie z tajemniczymi i niepokojacymi pomieszczeniami pustego portu lotniczego opisanymi na koncu "Kataru" Lema.

McCormick center is huge and despite the thousands of people attending the show, some sections of the buildings still seemed empty. This corridor reminds me about the empty airport at the end of the Stanislaw Lem's novel "Chain of Chance".
